April Foolishness – Adcraft’s unofficial kickoff to spring, it’s not only a great party and networking opportunity, but also a silent auction for hard goods, tough-to-get tickets, and opportunities to spend quality time in informal settings with leaders of the Detroit advertising community and much, much more.
Oktoberfest – One of Adcraft’s biggest parties of the year, Oktoberfest features an overflow crowd, plenty of camaraderie, great German food and, of course, the occasional adult beverage!

Bowling – The Adcraft Bowling League was founded in 1924 and today has more than 100 members. It’s a co-ed league, and it doesn’t matter if your average is 100 or 200 – each team gets a handicap to level the playing field. Each team consists of seven men and women, but only five bowl each week, which allows for rotating so that everybody gets a night off. Interested in having more fun than is typically allowed under Michigan law? The league begins in September and continues through April. For more information or to join the fun, contact League President Paul Gross, email@example.com.
The Adcraft PM Committee coordinates many social and civic events directed toward, but not exclusive to, the young members of the Club and students. These informal networking opportunities for young Adcrafters and students usually take place in the evening after business hours. Adcraft members get to attend all of the PM events for free or at a discounted rate.
Adcraft publishes a website as well as a bi-monthly trade publication, Adcrafter, in both print and electronic formats. Adcrafter reports on Detroit-oriented advertising news and Adcraft Club activities. Both include our Clearing House, a listing of advertising industry events, which we use to help prevent the scheduling of two similar events at the same time. Our website and the Adcrafter provide suppliers of advertising materials or services with an opportunity to target sales messages to top-level decision-makers here in Detroit.
